Greens at anti-nuclear action in front of Turkish Parliament
Activists from all over Turkey call MPs to say no to the nuclear deal in Parliament, carrying boxes filled with the 170,000 signatures of anti-nuclear petitioners.
Ankara - Anti-nuclear activists conducted a nonviolent action in front of the Turkish Parliament today in order to stop MPs from voting on Turkey’s nuclear deal with Russia. Activists protested the nuclear law with boxes full of 170,000 antinuclear petitioners’ signatures and opened banners in Turkish and English reading “TURKEY DOESN’T WANT NUCLEAR” and “SAY NO TO DIRTY NUCLEAR DEAL” in front of Parliament.
